November Rain of Gratitude – Day 24

The Thanksgiving Turkey may be the most anticipated meal of the year. While other traditions and celebrations may carry sentimentality through cakes, kugel, or various seasoned meats, the universally devoured feast on the fourth Thursday of the month of November every year in the United States is a golden turkey. Through all of the family dysfunction and travel stresses, we shut up for about 5 minutes to inhale the juicy comforts of basted turkey deliciousness as each bite brings waves of memories parading through our mind. I’m not sure why you drew the short straw Sir Thanksgiving Turkey as the yearly edible delectable numm-numms in my belly, but I’m mighty grateful and would like to express my gratitude in advance for the next 100 years.
