How do you express gratitude to something as vast, complex, and loyal as the United States Marine Corps? For 236 years you have been a watchdog for watchdogs. You helped make the signing of the Declaration of Independence possible. You’ve provided protection when we needed it, and even when we didn’t know we needed it. To this day, around the world, your ambassadors still carry the pride, honor, and code of the USMC… and of being true bad-asses. I, and every person of this beautifully imperfect nation, would like to express our gratitude for everything you’ve done up to this point, and kindly thank you in advance for keeping us safe so we can buy video games and pretend we’re you.
