February Passionary – Day 13

Passion sometimes requires protection. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) was established 98 years ago in the interest of protecting the royalty rights of music artists. In 2008, ASCAP protected music artist licensing to the sum of nine hundred and thirty three million dollars worth of passion. Protectionators of Passionators are the men in the photo! Incidentally, the piano in the photo is the same one Ted Nugent plunked out the first few chords to his royalty protected Valentine hit, Wang Dang Sweet Poontang.
